The Midwest's leading physician-owned Emergency Department Management Service.
The Midwest's leading physician-owned Emergency Department Management Service. Midwest Emergency Department Services (MEDS) has provided business solutions for physicians and hospital emergency departments since 1983. Emergency Department Management is our only business. We provide you with talented physicians, superior service, responsiveness, and accountability; advantages that tend to get lost in large staffing companies. MEDS provides a staff of emergency medicine, residency trained physicians and family medicine physicians, through recruitment of new talent and continuing education programs for our existing physician contractors. The MEDS management team is led by EM boarded physicians with extensive experience in emergency medicine. We draw upon this expertise and stay up-to-date on the latest innovations and practices related to emergency medicine and emergency department management. We are professional, have vast experience in emergency department management, yet have remained small so that our level of commitment and service, and above all our accountability, are not lost in layer upon layer of management. We continue to focus our growth in the areas of quality assurance and improvement programs within our existing contracts, while always striving to maintain physicians of high quality and integrity.
As a MEDS physician, you enjoy the benefits of being an Independent Contractor. Working in the emergency department as an independent contractor allows you the freedom to determine your income, based on the number of hours you choose to work, as well as freedom from rising malpractice costs. Midwest Emergency also offers you the opportunity to grow financially and professionally, while working within our organization. MEDS makes it possible for you, as an Independent Contractor, to enjoy a greater quality of life and the freedom to focus on those aspects of your life that are the most important. Physicians and hospitals benefit by maintaining a stable workforce, while leaving the administration associated with Emergency Department Management to us.
