Tell City, IN- Officials with MEDS are pleased to announce that the company has been selected as the emergency department staffing and management partner for a new hospital client in southern Indiana.
Perry County Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit, county-owned critical access hospital located in Tell City, Indiana. The Perry County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department is physician-staffed 24/7 by Emergency Medicine trained physicians. In addition to two fully equipped trauma rooms, the department has seven treatment rooms. Perry County Memorial Hospital ED team also works hand-in-hand with Perry County EMS.
Bill Bryant, Chief Nursing Officer at Perry County Memorial Hospital, states, "We want to make sure that when patients come through the door of our emergency room, they will receive the best quality care. We expect this transition to improve the patient experience and reduce wait times. This is a new day in emergency care for Perry County."
MEDS is excited to be selected as the contracted management group to help support the mission of delivering high qaulity health care in southern Indiana. We are eager to serve this community by providing new physician leadership and physician engagement at Perry County Memorial Hospital’s emergency department.
