Big News from MEDS!
We’re honored to announce that starting August 1, 2025, MEDS - Midwest Emergency Department Services will assume operational leadership and management of the Hospitalist Program at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, IL.
This marks a new chapter in our long-standing partnership with SSM Health, built on a shared commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and operational efficiency.
Under this new agreement, MEDS will manage the recruitment, credentialing, and oversight of hospitalist physicians and advanced practice providers across SSM Health’s inpatient services in Centralia. We are excited to elevate inpatient care together with alignment on clinical protocols, best practices, collaboration on quality improvement, care coordination & community health initiatives. We’re proud to expand our role in supporting SSM Health’s mission!
